You will need:
350 g blue yarn (50% cotton, 50% viscose; 100 m/50 g);
100 g beige yarn from the same range
Knitting needles no. 4;
Set of knitting needles for socks No.4.
Crochet no.. 3.5.
The hemstitch pattern: It will knit according to the diagram. In the scheme are presented both front rows and back rows. The pattern starts and ends with a back row.
Starts with row with 1 edge stitch, is knitting stitches before the report, it's repeating report and it's ends with the stitches after the report and 1 side stitch. Rows 1-11 it's repeating once. Will take into account the yarn color, as shown in scheme with a number.
With blue yarn cast on needle 8 stitches which are distributed on 4 knitting needles. Stitches are closed in circle. It will knit according to the scheme no.2. In the scheme are presented 1-4 from the report with all the rows circular.
The report is repeated 4 times. on each needle we will have a single report.
Rows 1-30 are repeated once. Will take into account the color of the yarn, as shown in scheme with a number.
The dimensions of the square: 15 x 15 cm, diagonal = 21 cm.
Jersey point back: In the front rows – all stitches purl, in the back rows - all stitches knit stitch.
Knitwear density: 21 stitches x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm knitted with jersey point.
Back: With beige yarn, cast on needle 94 stitches and is knitting 3 cm = 11 rows, pattern from scheme no.1.
Further it will knit with jersey point, with blue yarn.
After 18 cm = 58 rows from the hemstitch pattern, for the neckline sleeves, are closed from both sides 1 x 6 stitches, then in every 2nd row 2 x 3 stitches and 1 x 2 stitches = 66 stitches.
After 30 cm = 96 rows from the hemstitch pattern, for neckline are closed 36 stitches from center and each part will knit separately. From the neckline, in every 2nd row are closed 3 x 2 stitches and 1 x 1 stitch.
After 33 cm = 106 rows from the hemstitch pattern, are let on helpful needle those 8 stitches remained for the shoulder line.
Left front side: It is composed of 3 details. The arrows from scheme indicate the direction of knitting.
Will knit a square according to the scheme no. 2. After the last row of the scheme, will close stitches as knit stitches, with beige yarn.
With blue yarn, from the corner A, will cast on needle, on one side of the square - 31 stitches. Is knitting with jersey point back. Starting with row 2, it will decrease in each row, from both sides, 14 x 1 stitch (After and before the edge stitch will knit two knit stitches together (in the back rows) or 2 purl stitches together (in the front rows).
After 4,5 cm = 15 rows from the place where stitches are cast on needle, those three remaining stitches will knit together purl. The working yarn is passed trough the remained stitch and is tightened.
The top part will be knit from up to down.
Those 8 remained stitches for the left shoulder line are passed on working needle. Will knit jersey point back with blue yarn.
After 13 cm = 42 rows from the shoulder line, will cast on needle, for neckline sleeve, 1 x 2 stitches, then in every 2nd row 2 x 3 stitches and 1 x 6 stitches = 22 stitches.
After 15 cm = 48 rows from the shoulder line, from right (on the oblique side of the square) are closing * 1 x 1 stitch, then in every 2nd row 2 x 1 stitch, 1 x 2 stitches, 3 x 1 stitch and 1 x 2 stitches. It's repeating from * once again, after that are closing 2 x 1 stitch.
After 10,5 cm = 34 rows, from the right decreases, all the stitches will be closed.
Beveled edge will sew by the side of the square.
Right side front, will knit symmetrical to the left side.
The sleeve: With beige yarn, is cast on needle 50 stitches and knit 3 cm = 11 rows model from scheme no. 1.
Further it will knit with blue yarn, with jersey point back.
In every 16th row from the hemstitch pattern, will add from both sides 7 x 1 stitch = 64 stitches.
After 37,5 cm = 120 rows from the hemstitch pattern, are closed from both sides 1 x 2 stitches and in every 2nd row 1 x 2 stitches, 15 x 1 stitch, 2 x 2 stitches and 1 x 3 stitches.
After 50 cm = 160 rows from the hemstitch pattern, are closed those 12 remaining stitches.
Finishing: The details are wet and gets easy ironing. It carries out the seams of details.
The edges of the bolero will finish with blue yarn, with the crochet help, 1 row with single crochet. When we get in the free corner of the square will be crochet a chain of 40 cm lenght. The work is turn with the help of a chain stitch and is crochet 1 row single crochet. It will continue with edges finishing. The same will be achieved and the second lanyard.
On the bottom edge of the squares, and between them, will fix tassels, at a distance of 2 cm between each.
A tassel will be realized from 2 beige yarn and 2 blue, of length 24 cm. Yarns are put in two and fixed using crochet with the edge of the square (see picture).
